Privacy policy

Short version: Sermon2MP3 collects no data. Everything stays on your device.

Last updated: 29 October 2026

What the app does with your files

Sermon2MP3 reads the recording you pick, converts it to an MP3 on your device and saves the MP3 on your device. Your recordings and MP3s are never uploaded anywhere. The app works without an internet connection.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no account or login, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash reporting. It does not send any data to us or to anyone else.

Permissions

• Files: only the recording you choose yourself, through the system file picker.
• Notifications (Android): to show the progress of a conversion running in the background.
• Keep awake: so a conversion isn't interrupted when the screen turns off.

Sharing

When you tap Share, the system share sheet opens and you choose where the MP3 goes, for example WhatsApp. From then on, that app's own privacy policy applies.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
